The mission of Cradles to Crayons is to provide children from birth through age 12, living in homeless or low-income situations, with the essential items they need to thrive - at home, at school and at play. Cradles to Crayons supplies these items free of charge by engaging and connecting communities that have with communities that need. Cradles to Crayons model collects new and gently-used children’s items from communities that have excess and, with the help of approximately 1,700 volunteers each month, distributes these items to children living in low income and homeless situations in the Philadelphia region

We donate “Baby Bundles” of clothing to social service providers that determine the need of the new mom and baby. Each “Baby Bundle” includes 30 seasonally appropriate outfits, onesies, sleepers, a hat, a bib, socks and shoes.They accept sizes 0- 12/18 months on an ongoing basis. They recently started adding baby board books to our bundles because it is never to early to start reading to your baby.
